Our Group focuses on micro-channeling or micro-needling in terms of hair growth, acne scar revision, or visible skin defects. I may use dermal fillers, exosomes, or placenta cell factors in addition to micro-channeling/needling to complete the treatment. But the end result is cosmetic or aesthetic vs functional.

Microchanneling

Microchanneling is an innovative skin treatment that uses a handheld device with tiny needles to create tiny punctures in the skin’s surface. These punctures trigger the skin’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture and tone, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and minimizing scarring.

Microchanneling is often used as a non-invasive alternative to traditional microneedling, which involves larger needles and deeper punctures. The smaller punctures of microchanneling are less invasive and result in less downtime and discomfort, making it a popular choice for individuals with sensitive skin.

Additionally, microchanneling can be combined with various serums and topicals, like vitamin C or hyaluronic acid, to deeply infuse them into the skin for enhanced effects. Overall, microchanneling is a safe and effective way to improve the appearance of your skin and achieve a more youthful, radiant complexion.

Micro-needling for hair loss

Micro-needling is a cosmetic procedure that stimulates hair growth in individuals experiencing hair loss. The technique uses a device with tiny needles to create microwounds in the scalp, triggering the body’s natural healing response. This leads to the production of collagen and growth factors in the scalp, providing more nutrients, blood flow, and oxygen to the hair follicles. Dermatologists and hair clinics can perform micro-needling, requiring a series of sessions for the best results. Those with skin sensitivities should first consult with their doctor before undertaking treatment, but overall, micro-needling is safe and helps to promote strong, healthy hair growth.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment used to restore volume and contour to the face, smooth out wrinkles and lines, and enhance facial features. The fillers are gel-like substances made of hyaluronic acid or other materials that are injected into the skin to target specific areas. They work by adding volume to the treated area, which can help to create a more youthful and vibrant appearance.

Commonly treated areas include the cheeks, chin, lips, and under-eye hollows. Dermal fillers are considered safe and effective with few side effects, but it’s important to choose a qualified and experienced practitioner to ensure the best results. The treatment typically takes around 30 minutes and the effects last between six and eighteen months depending on the type of filler used. Dermal fillers offer a quick, non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures, allowing people to achieve a more refreshed look without the need for extensive downtime or recovery.
